2026年10月，麻省理工学院公布无人机路径规划方法SANDO，尝试解决陌生环境中移动障碍物带来的碰撞风险。系统无需预先获得完整地图，而是利用机载传感器观察周边，并根据障碍物可能达到的最高速度，计算其在未来一段时间内能够进入的范围，再据此划出随时间变化的安全飞行区域。

在这一通道内，算法继续优化飞行轨迹，尽量缩短到达目标所需的时间。无人机前进时会不断更新环境判断和路线，避开障碍密集区域。研究团队给出了基于模型假设的数学安全证明，并在模拟及12次真实飞行中完成验证，实机测试均成功避开动态障碍。该方法可为灾后搜救、隧道探索和复杂区域运输提供技术参考。它的安全保证建立在障碍速度等假设得到满足的条件上，不能理解为任何现实环境中都绝对不会发生碰撞。后续研究将继续降低计算开销，并探索用自然语言向机器人下达任务。
