2026年9月，中国科学院上海技术物理研究所提出一种制造单晶金属薄膜的新办法。研究人员让热蒸发设备以很小的剂量沉积金属原子，并在每一步之间暂停，给原子足够时间移动到更有序的位置。这项分步蒸镀技术名为Step-Eva，目标是改善金属与半导体接触的微观质量，为持续缩小的电子器件减少性能损失。

团队先以铋进行验证，在二维半导体表面得到大范围、晶向一致的单晶金属，随后将方法扩展到银、铟、金和钯。相关材料能够形成较平整、洁净的接触界面，减小不同位置之间的电势差异。用它制作的二维半导体器件表现出较低的接触电阻，金属层在很薄时仍可连续导电，并显示出一定热稳定性。这项研究把金属电极本身的原子排列纳入器件设计，有望帮助电子与光电系统进一步降低功耗。成果属于制造方法与器件验证进展，大规模应用还需要后续工艺适配。
