2026年9月，麻省理工学院与合作机构公布医学影像配准方法xvr，帮助把手术中的二维X光图像与患者术前的三维扫描对应起来。二维影像缺少直接的深度信息，医生需要据此判断器械在体内的位置和方向。新方法希望通过患者专属模型，让这一步更迅速、更精确。

系统利用患者已有的CT或磁共振等三维图像，生成不同角度的模拟X光，再据此适配模型。研究团队报告，适配过程约需五分钟，之后可在数秒内完成影像对齐，并达到亚毫米级精度。由于不同患者的解剖结构差异很大，针对个体调整有助于减少通用模型在陌生病例上的失效。研究在多种身体部位和操作情境中进行了比较，显示出改善导航信息的潜力。它提供的是影像辅助能力，不负责代替医生实施手术；临床使用还应结合设备校准、实际图像质量及持续验证，不能仅凭算法测试结果推断每次操作都同样准确。
